Man critically hurt in Westside stabbing

Police responding to a man down on 103rd Street near Old Middleburg Road find a man with stab

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

A man is in critical condition after getting stabbed outside a Westside convenience store late Saturday night, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Officers responded to a call for help on 103rd Street near Old Middleburg Road around 11:30 p.m. Saturday.

JSO Sgt. T.K. Waters said that when officers arrived, they found 22-year-old Jackie Wilson lying on a dirt road off 103rd.

Waters said Wilson was suffering from multiple stab wounds.  Police said Wilson was conscious, alert and speaking with police before rescue arrived.

Wilson was taken to Orange Park Medical Center in critical condition.

Waters said they do not have any suspects at this time, but the investigation is continuing.
