Man dies after shooting during argument

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

A man shot on A. Philip Randolph Boulevard late Sunday afternoon has died, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Police said a 36-year-old man was shot around 5:30 p.m. during an argument between two men. Phillipe Foster was shot and the other man fled, police said.

Officers said they are investigating the case as a homicide but have not said if they have have made an arrest.

The shooting happened near EverBank Field about an hour after the Jaguars game ended, but police said it did not appear related.
