ORANGE PARK, Fla. -

A 24-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Orange Park early Saturday morning, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

Kory Deyton was traveling northbound on Blanding Boulevard alongside two other motorcyclists around 2 a.m.

A Clay County deputy reported seeing them driving recklessly, according to the FHP report.  The deputy attempted to catch up with them.  He saw them turn onto Arora Boulevard and turned on his siren and lights to pull them over, according to troopers.

The deputy reported losing sight of all three motorcyclists.  As he was traveling westbound on Arora Boulevard, he observed Deyton's motorcycle laying on its side in a yard.

Deyton was pronounced dead at Orange Park Medical Center.
