JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

A 52-year-old Jacksonville man was sentenced Tuesday to five years in prison for stalking his neighbor.

Charles Riggs was convicted last week on a charge of aggravated stalking. Prosecutors said he stalked his neighbor for three weeks in March.

Riggs made sexual comments to the woman and threatened her when she refused his advances, prosecutors said.

Riggs, a seven-time convicted felon, has convictions for lewd act on a victim younger than 16 and video voyeurism.
