ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -

Deputies in St. Johns County say they are searching for a man in connection with two car burglaries that occurred the early Tuesday morning in the 300 block of Elementary Way off Watson Road.

The victim's camera was able to capture the thief and his vehicle, described by the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office as what appears to be a 1999-2004 white Land Rover.

Authorities said the man drove by the victim's home and parked out of view. The man then approached the victim's van and removed several items.

Deputies believe the same man entered a neighbor's vehicle and removed two handguns.

Anyone with any information about these burglaries or with more information about the man's identity is asked to call Detective Jerry Montague at the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office at 904-209-3987 or Crime Stoppers at 888-277-TIPS (8477).
