The parents of Trayvon Martin and the homeowners association for which George Zimmerman worked as a neighborhood watch captain have entered into a confidential settlement of the Martins' civil suit.

It appears the homeowners association has paid at least $1 million.

Zimmerman's attorney, Mark O'Mara, wants that settlement unsealed, according to a motion filed by the defense in his client's criminal trial.

O'Mara said he wants to know if the money payout might influence testimony in the criminal case.

Zimmerman charged with murder in the shooting death of Martin last year.
