Men sought in Clay County pawn shop theft

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. -

Detectives in Clay County are asking for the public's help in solving a pawn shop theft in which crooks got away with nearly $2,000 in electronics.

The thefts happened at the Cash America Pawn in the 300 block of Blanding Boulevard on Feb. 20.

Investigators say the man in a green jacket took two PlayStation Portable game systems, three iPhones, another smartphone, and a tablet from a locked display case.

They say he left with another man in a red shirt.

Investigators say the two drove off in a white SUV (pictured, right).

The stolen items are worth about $1,800.

Anyone with any information about the theft is asked to call the Clay County Sheriff's Office at 904-264-6512.
