The highest concentration of working commuters work in Miami.

A new commuter census shows that 125,000 Broward County residents drive to Miami-Dade for work each day. That is the largest number of drivers who cross into another county for work in the state of Florida.

The next highest group of cross-country commuters are the 81,000 Seminole County residents who drive to Orange County for jobs in the metro Orlando area.

One million Miami-Dade residents make their commutes within the county each day. That is the highest number of commuters in the nation.

Broward County has the 15th largest number of commuters with 369,000 residents commuting each day.
