Jacksonville, Fla. -

A man is in critical condition after he crashed his motorcycle on the Westside Saturday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

It happened around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Normandy Boulevard and Chaffee Road.

Troopers said a Buick Riviera driven by Linda Bussell, 66, turned in front of a Suzuki GSX motorcycle that Deymieloyd Andrade, 33, was driving.

Troopers said Andrade tried to stop, but overturned and hit the front of a Chevrolet Impala that was driving behind the Buick.

Andrade was taken to Shands Jacksonville Medical Center in critical condition. Troopers said he was wearing a helmet.
