Mayor Alvin Brown announced Wednesday that One Spark is headed for downtown Jacksonville on April 17th.
Brown said he is enthusiastic about the event.
"This is very exciting time for our city and especially for our downtown," said Brown. "With One Spark, there are a lot of words that come to mind; creativity, collaboration, energy and opportunity."
The event is an opportunity to showcase downtown Jacksonville during the five-day festival. Organizers are expecting over 100,000 attendees.
Brown said he also expects the downtown area to receive an economic boom.
"The first economic impact is heads and beds of people coming to Jacksonville," said Brown. "The second thing we want someone to come up with a great idea that we can all invest in, and I think the city will get a huge return on its investment."
Burrito Gallery owner Toni Allegretti hopes to cash in, in more than one way during One Spark.
"Burrito gallery is a venue. We have five creators in Burrito Gallery, but I am also a creator," said Allegretti. "My idea is instant beard cream. My idea is to have different color shaving cream. If your hair is black, you could have black shaving cream, see what you look like with a beard every morning."
As a downtown business owner, Allegretti thinks that One Spark will be the spark Jacksonville needs to ignite downtown.
"I think that it's going to bring a lot of business downtown," said Allegretti. "Lots of folks are going to open their eyes to how awesome our downtown is with this festival."
