A two-vehicle collision early Sunday morning on State Road A1A killed a 24-year-old passenger in one vehicle and injured three three others, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Sean Saikley, of Jacksonville, was a passenger in a Honda van that went out of control about 12:45 a.m. on A1A about one mile north of Wonderwood. The vehicle crossed into the southbound lane, hitting a 2002 Audi and overturned.

Saikley was pronounced dead at the scene by Jacksonville Fire-Rescue.

The driver of the Honda, Michael McBride, 24, of Jacksonville, along with the driver and passenger of the Audi, both from New Smyrna Beach, were all transported to Shands Jacksonville Medical Center.

McBride was in critical condition. The Audi driver, Rodney Mann Jr., 36, was listed in serious condition and his passenger, Shaunna Mann, 34, had minor injuries.

The accident remains under investigation and charges are pending.
