JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

The son of a pastor at a Northside church pleaded guilty Thursday to molesting a young boy at the church.

Other charges against Paul Groover were dropped in the plea deal.

The molestation happened years ago at Greater Refuge Temple, but didn't come to light until 2010.

The victim did not want to go through a trial.

Groover was sentenced to 10 years in prison and will be placed on the Florida Department of Law Enforcement's registered sex offender list.

He was the second person sent to prison in this case. Darrell Moore, the pastor's son-in-law, pleaded guilty to lewd and lascivious molestation of another child -- a girl -- and was sentenced in December to five years.
