Philips Hwy back open after crash

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office and Florida Highway Patrol responded to a crash with serious injuries on Philips Highway near Old St. Augustine Road on Friday morning.

A car traveling north on Philips went into the wrong lane and hit a truck just after 8 a.m., according to JSO.

It's unclear how many people were hurt, but JSO did say there were serious injuries.

Northbound lanes of Philips were blocked for about an hour while police cleaned up the wreckage.
