PALM BAY, Fla. -

Prosecutors in central Florida are considering felony charges against an 11-year-old boy who police say shot an Airsoft gun at classmates.

Florida Today reports no one was injured during the incident at a bus stop in Palm Bay earlier this month. The boy was arrested Wednesday on charges of aggravated assault and trespassing on school property with a weapon.

The boy is scheduled for arraignment on Dec. 4. He is a student at Meadowlane Intermediate Elementary School in Palm Bay. Officials say he was suspended Nov. 7 for defying a teacher's orders and for bringing a bullet to the campus. Police say he showed up at the bus stop two days later and fired several shots at students.

Officials say the students took several days to report the incident.
