JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Police have arrested a 41-year-old woman in connection with the stabbing death of her boyfriend early Saturday morning.

Investigators said Tonya Bell stabbed 46-year-old Ronnie Hill in the 1000 block of Pearce Street in Northwest Jacksonville just before 1 a.m. Police said the two were having an argument and both had been drinking.

According to a police report, Bell hollered at Hill, "I'm tired of your ass, come on, bring your ass over here."

Hill went up to her, swinging his fist, police said. They said that's when Bell plunged the pointed end of a landscaping light into his neck and chest.

Hill was taken to Shands Jacksonville Medical Center, where he died the next day.
