Police looking for hit-and-run driver who hit teen bicyclist

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. -

A hit-and-run crash left a Flagler County teenager in critical condition after he was hit while riding his bicycle, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Around 6:10 p.m. Thursday, Kyle Forgie, 17, was crossing the entrance ramp to northbound Interstate 95 from Palm Coast Parkway in the marked crosswalk, according to the FHP report.

An unknown blue Dodge pickup truck or SUV hit the teen and fled the scene. The vehicle was traveling from westbound Palm Coast Parkway and entered the ramp to I-95.

Forgie was flown to Halifax Medical Center and remains in critical but stable condition.

Any information that the public may have regarding this crash is crucial to the investigation, according to FHP.
