Police search for Wells Fargo bank robber

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Police said a man robbed a Lakeshore bank Saturday morning after saying he had a gun and demanding money.

Investigators say a man wearing a blacked hooded sweatshirt, jeans and a Boston Red Sox baseball cap told the teller at the Wells Fargo branch at 4206 San Juan Ave. he had a gun and asked for money.

Westside bank robbery Witnesses said he then ran away from the bank.

Police describe the man as a white male, between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall, thin build, dark hair and a mustache.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at 904-630-0500 or Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS to remain anonymous and be eligible for a possible reward.
