JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

A man robbed a woman of her purse last Friday morning then later used her credit cards at a local supermarket, according to Jacksonville police.

Investigators are now trying to identify that man.

Police said the man struck the victim in the head in a parking lot in the 900 block of North Davis Street near downtown about 7 a.m. He stole her purse containing numerous personal items and financial information, and fled the scene, police said.

The robber was on a bicycle.

A surveillance photo of the man shows him leaving a supermarket where the credit cards were used.
