JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Police in Jacksonville chased and captured three robbery suspects on Monday afternoon on the Southside.

Police said the suspects, whose identities were not immediately released, strong-arm robbed a customer at Walmart on San Jose Boulevard in Mandari, then fled in a stolen pickup truck.

Officers spotted the truck on Southside Boulevard an hour later and began pursuing it.

The driver went over a curb near Belle Rive Boulevard, lost control and spun out, police said. They said the suspects tried to run, but were all captured.

Police said the suspects were also being questioned in a series of purse-snatchings.
