PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. -

The St. Johns County Sheriff's Department is alerting Ponte Vedra Beach residents that law enforcement activity Wednesday at the closed Publix supermarket at Sawgrass Village is strictly training.

SWAT teams and bomb squads from various Northeast Florida law enforcement agencies will be working with heavy equipment and explosives at the site on State Road A1A.

The Sheriff's Office wants people in the area to know there may be detonations and other loud noises in the area between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., but it's all training.
