Christopher Bacca enters court for a hearing on charges of sexual battery of a minor.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

The Duval County School Board has terminated an elementary school teacher who's accused of eight counts of sexual abuse on a boy younger than 12.

Christopher Bacca, 26, taught at Windy Hill Elementary School. Investigators said he sexually molested the boy in the boy's home.

According to police reports, Bacca showered with the boy, who police said slept in his bed before the assault. The boy also told police that Bacca showered with him and performed oral sex on him more than once.

Prosecutors said all the incidents occurred with the same boy, and they don't believe there were any other victims.

Bacca has pleaded not guilty. He's being held in the Duval County jail without bail and waiting his next hearing Sept. 13.
