TAYLORSVILLE, Utah -

One Utah mayor is sweet on Girl Scout cookies.

Taylorsville Mayor Jerry Rechtenbach is inviting the scouts to sell cookies at city hall this coming Saturday.

Last weekend, the girls of Troop 2532 were selling cookies outside of a Wal-Mart. A man grabbed their cashbox and took off running.

The mayor says the crime is "deplorable."

Mayor Rechtenbach adds the city hall cookie sale will be a great way for the community to show support for the Girl Scouts.
