PALM COAST, Fla. -

Thieves broke into a Palm Coast storage yard in the last week and burglarized 12 motor homes, according to the Flagler County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded to the Kiwanis Storage Lot on Kiwanis Way just after noon Friday. One motor home owner reported the vehicle had been entered and bath towels, clothing and a flashlight were stolen.

While investigating the burglary, deputies discovered 11 other motor homes had also been broken into.

Owners reported miscellaneous items were stolen.

Deputies said entry to the yard appeared to have been made through a hole in the fence surrounding the storage area.

Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to call the Flagler County Sheriff's Offices at 386-313-4911.
