FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. -

State troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol were looking for whoever hit and killed a 24-year-old man then drove away early Saturday morning.

Troopers said Sean Lynn Ryan, of Palm Coast, was walking on northbound U.S. Highway 1 near Plantation Bay Drive about 12:42 a.m. when he was struck by a mid-size red pickup truck. Ryan died at the scene.

Investigators say after the crash, the driver of the pickup fled the scene. Troopers found part of the car and believe the vehicle in question is a 2007 or newer Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck.

Anyone with information about where the truck is or who is driving it is asked to call police immediately.
