BALDWIN, Fla. -

The Duval County school district is investigating a fight between two students that happened at Baldwin Middle School.

Channel 4 obtained a video from the fight that occurred Wednesday afternoon, which begins with what appears to be another student holding a cell phone and egging on a teenage girl to hit another teenage boy.

The scene quickly escalates and turns violent as the teenaged girl starts hitting the boy in the video.

A swarm of students in the cafeteria erupt from their chairs as the chaos unfolds.

The video of the fight is disturbing and frustrating to parents.

"I don't know what to think," said Kim Proctor. "It's hard because I'm a working parent. I can't be there all the time, so I just hope that something gets straightened out."

"They're doing that to get attention, kind of to show off," said Cindy Bishop. "Maybe that's not sending the right message."

Duval County Schools said they learned about the fight Wednesday afternoon and are investigating what happened. The district told Channel 4 that they didn't have any other details about the fight or the two teens involved.
