Woman killed in single-vehicle crash in Nocatee

NOCATEE, Fla. -

A 51-year-old woman died Saturday night when she lost control of her car as she exited Nocatee Parkway and was ejected when the vehicle hit a curb and rolled over, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Police say Susan Lamolinara, of Ponte Vedra Beach, was driving west at 11:22 p.m. when her vehicle hit a curb as she was exiting onto Valley Ridge Road, her car crossed the median into the northbound lanes and flipped, ejecting the driver.

Lamolinara, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
