ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -

A woman was seriously hurt when she turned her pickup truck into the path of another car in St. Johns County on Sunday night, according to the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said Tracy Tatum, 48, of St Augustine, turned into the path of a car driven by 20-year-old Scott Stinebuck, of Elkton, at the intersection of State Road 207 and Rolling Hills Drive about 9 p.m.

Tatum was flown to Orange Park Medical Center with serious injuries. Stinebuck was taken to Flagler Hospital with minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but alcohol is considered a factor in the crash, deputies said.
