Amber Alert for Sarasota girl cancelled

SARASOTA, Fla. -

An Amber Alert issued early Thursday morning for a 5-month-old girl in Sarasota was cancelled a few hours later when she was found safe in Manatee County.

Brianna Martinez-Lujano was reportedly last seen in the 4000 block of Tamiami Trail. the initial alert said she may be in the company of 31-year-old Aldequndo Benitez-Caivillo.

According to the alert notification, there was a "known relationship" between Benitez-Caivillo and the girl. Sarasota Police officers said they didn't believe the girl was abducted.
