JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Police in Jacksonville are trying to identify an attempted robber.

Police said the man went into Kangaroo Express at 9750 Old St. Augustine Road in Mandarin just before 2 a.m. Saturday and demanded money.

The man left without receiving any money, police said. They said he insinuated he had a firearm.

The man is described as white, between 6 feet 3 and 6 feet 4 inches tall and 220 pounds, with short hair and a deep voice.

Anyone who has any information on his identity or whereabouts is asked to call the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at 904-630-0500 or Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
