ST JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – A man riding his bicycle on Wildwood Drive was hit by a car Thursday morning at approximately 8:43 a.m.
Shawn P. Miller, 41, was traveling eastbound on his bike while Samuel Wayne Lake, 44, was traveling northbound in his car.

According to a report, Miller attempted to cross the intersection at a red light, while Lake crossed the intersection at a green light.
Unable to stop his vehicle, Lake struck Miller with his car.
Miller is reported to be in critical condition at Shands Jacksonville Hospital.
No charges have been made against Lake.
