MACCLENNY, Fla. -

The city of Macclenny has issued a boil water notice. There is a water main break at N. 5th Street and Stansell Street.

The city advises people to boil water for 1 minute for drinking or cooking. Bottled water can be used as an alternative.

The boiled water notice will remain in effect until the city is confident through bacterial testing that the water is safe to drink.

The city will notify residents when the boil water notice is lifted. For more information residents can call the city at (904) 259-6261
