CALLAHAN, Fla. -

A precautionary boil water advisory has been issued for Callahan after a water main break at U.S. 1 and State Road 200/U.S. 301.

All water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes should be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.

The notice notice will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected and a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink.

Anyone with any questions may contact Callahan Town Hall at 904-879-3801 or Michael Williams at 904-838-8724.
