JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

The family and friends of a Westside woman gunned down inside an Applebee's restaurant held a candlelight vigil in her honor Saturday night.

Police said 42-year-old Lisa Veney was shot and killed by her estranged husband last Sunday night while leaving the restaurant.

The couple's 18-year-old daughter who was home from Army training witnessed the entire ordeal.

Police said Sheridan Veney, 44, admitted to the killing and is now charged with murder.

The vigil was held at the Applebee's on Lane Avenue South.

Those who attended were asked to wear green clothing and bring green candles and ribbons.
