Car burglar sought after using credit card

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police in Jacksonville are trying to identify a man they said broke into a car, stole a woman's purse, then used her credit card a short time later.

The woman found her car's front passenger window broken and purse gone about 6:15 p.m. April 26 at Tillie K. Fowler Regional Park at 7000 Roosevelt Boulevard on the Westside.

At about 7:50 p.m., a man was seen on surveillance video at Walmart at 6767 103rd Street, where police said he used the woman's credit card.

Police said the video shows the man on a bicycle, but the woman believes she saw him leaving the park immediately following the burglary in an older model light green Oldsmobile.
