CLAY COUNTY, Fla. -

The Clay County Sheriff's Office is investigating a potential case of debit card skimming.

The sheriff's office released a video of the suspect (seen above in blue shirt), who detectives believe used a debit card that was created using a stolen or skimmed number from a victim who lives in Orlando.

The victim reported that his bank informed him of a $158.33 charge at a Publix on Blanding Boulevard that appeared suspicious.

A deputy with the sheriff's office investigated the claim and was told by the customer service manger at the Publix that the suspect in the video made attempts to pay with four different cards, including the victim's card.

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect is asked to contact Det. Jason Freeland of the CCSO at 904-264-6512.
