GREEN COVE SPRINGS, Fla. -

The Clay County Grand Jury this week indicted Adrian Seward for the July murder of his ex-wife, Lashawana Lynn Criswell. Seward was indicted on charges of first-degree murder.

Criswell, 33, was shot and killed near her Oakleaf area home just days after her divorce with Seward was finalized.  Seward is accused of shooting and killing Criswell after she ran to a neighbor’s home while being pursued by her ex-husband.

Seward is currently being housed in the Clay County Jail without bond. Seward’s arraignment is scheduled for Sept. 4.
