LAKE CITY, Fla. -

Detectives with the Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force made an arrest of a Columbia County man Friday afternoon.

The Columbia County Sheriff's Office says the investigation began April 1 after the office received an anonymous tip.

Police were able to get a search warrant for a residence on Granger Mill Avenue. There police found 70 grams of crack cocaine and nearly 10 pounds of marijuana. Police also seized a large amount of cash and a car that police say was used in the commission of the narcotics violations.

Police arrested Bert Peterson, 40, on charges of possession of cocaine, trafficking in cocaine, two counts of possession of marijuana and possession of drug equipment.
