VIDEO: A lot of thought and creativity went into the choreography of several different acts to make up one play. The Community Nutcracker relies on the support of the community in its efforts to improve the production each year. Debra Peters Rankin, artistic director, talks about the play.

A musical holiday classic gave a sample performance Saturday morning  on Channel 4's The Morning Show.

Performers from the Community Nutcracker appeared to preview their performances at 8 p.m. Friday, December 13, and 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday, December 14.  It's being held at the Florida Theater downtown.

Tickets range from $23 to $34 and can be purchased at the Florida Theater.  Proceeds go to multiple charities around Northeast Florida.
