Police: Corrections officer arrested for DUI

Cops: Officer crashed personal vehicle early Friday morning

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A corrections officer is being investigated after he was arrested for driving under the influence, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Jacksonville police said Corrections Officer Christopher Riley was arrested for DUI after he crashed his personal vehicle at about 2:40 a.m. Friday on Zambito Avenue.

Investigators said his vehicle veered off the roadway and ran into some bushes.

Police said Riley has been placed on administrative duty pending the outcome of the investigation.
