JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

A Putnam County family fighting a red light camera ticket they received in Jacksonville will no longer have to go to court to prove their case.

The ticket has been dismissed.

JoeAnn and Randy Mace say the car caught on a red light camera was not theirs, even though it has what appears to be their license plate.

The Maces said they own an orange Dodge Charger, and the car caught on the red light camera is light colored.

The couple declined an offer from the judge to pay $200 and have the ticket wiped from their record.

They were planning to go to trial next week.
