1 life-threatening after Northside crash

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

One person suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash on the Northside Wednesday morning.

Jacksonville police said a car heading south on Pulaski Road in Oceanway at about 8:45 a.m. turned left in front of a northbound tow truck.

The car was trying to turn onto the Interstate 295 on ramp. Police said the truck hit the passenger side of the car.

The passenger in the car was flown to UF Health Jacksonville with severe injuries.

One southbound lane and both northbound lanes were closed after the crash.
