LAKE CITY, Fla. -

Deputies said a man was arrested Friday after a three-month long investigation into Internet child pornography at a home in Lake City.

The Columbia County Sheriff's Office served a search warrant Friday at a home in the 1600 block of Southwest Camellia Lane.

The investigation, which deputies said began in February, was initiated after a cybertip was received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Detectives learned that a local man had uploaded child pornography onto a social networking site.

Joined with Florida Department of Law Enforcement agents and personnel from their Florida Computer Crime Center, the search warrant was served and the man was located, deputies said.

Adam Quinn Chapital was arrested on charges of transmission of pornography by an electronic device or equipment and unlawful use of a two-way communications device.

Chapital's bond was set at a total of $80,000.
