LAKE CITY, Fla. – Two men were arrested and charged after deputies discovered cash, handguns, marijuana and cocaine at two Lake City homes while serving search warrants.
The Columbia County Sheriff's Office said detectives from the Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force served search warrants Wednesday at an apartment at 411 N.W. Bascom Norris Drive and a home at 843 N.E. Catawba St.

The warrants were a result of a lengthy undercover investigation into narcotics violations, according to deputies.
Sheriff's Office SWAT deputies helped by securing the homes for the detectives. The searches uncovered cash, handguns, marijuana, cocaine in powder form and "crack" cocaine, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Arrested at the Bascom Norris address, deputies said, was 32-year-old Tony Holley Jr. on charges of suspicion of possession of a firearm by a felon, manufacture of cocaine, possession of cocaine, trafficking in cocaine, possession of drug equipment and violation of probation; his bond is $326,000.
Deputies said at the Catawba address, 37-year-old Wayne Freeman was arrested on charges of suspicion of possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of cocaine, manufacture of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug equipment and violation of probation. Bond was set at $252,000.
The investigation continues and deputies said more arrests are expected.
