Putnam deputies say man killed on Palatka street

PALATKA, Fla. -

The Putnam County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of 28-year-old Antonio Mulberry, whose his body was found on Augusta Road in Palatka early Sunday morning.

Deputies say Mulberry's body was discovered about 12:35 a.m. and his death has been classified as a homicide.

Deputies say Mulberry was driving a yellow 1977 Chevrolet SS with black racing stripes shortly before the time of his death.

The Sheriff's Office is asking anyone who saw or heard anything unusual in the area of Augusta Road between midnight and 12:45 a.m. Sunday or has any knowledge of Mulberry’s whereabouts or activities in the few hours previous to his death to come forward.

Anyone with information that could help is asked to call Detective David Sanders at 386-329-0801 or Crime Stoppers at 1-888-277-TIPS. By calling Crime Stoppers, you can remain anonymous, and if the information you provide leads to an arrest, you may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
