FORT MYERS, Fla. -

A man is injured, but expected to be okay, after Lee County sheriff's deputies shot him on Sunday at a Fort Myers-area gas station.

Police say the man rammed his car into their squad cars.  They say he then tried to run over deputies.

Deputies say they tried to talk to him about a possible stolen car before he rammed the car into the two deputy cars.

A deputy fired, hitting the man.  After being hit, he crashed into a parked truck and got out of the car and tried to run on foot.

Deputies caught and arrested the man.

No deputies were hurt in the incident.
