JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. – The driver of an SUV suffered only minor injuries in a fiery crash with a parked van at Jacksonville Beach on Monday afternoon, according to police.
The crash happened on Third Street South near Sixth Avenue South at about 4 p.m.

Police said the SUV was heading northbound when it crashed into the back of a utility van, which then hit a sedan.
The van and the sedan were not occupied.
A fire broke out, mainly in the van.
The driver went to a hospital after the crash.
It's unclear what caused the wreck.
Northbound lanes of Third Street were closed to traffic.
