Drug supplying suspect arrested in Kingsland

KINGSLAND, Ga. – A 33-year-old Kingsland man was arrested Wednesday after police identified him as a direct supplier of marijuana and other dangerous drugs in the Mariners Landing area.

Will Buie Jr. (pictured, right) was arrested on one count of possession of cocaine with intent to sell, one count of possession of marijuana with intent to sell, and one count of manufacture of crack cocaine, along with a misdemeanor count of driving while license suspended or revoked.

Police said the complex investigation led to the issuance of a search warrant for Buie's home in the 100 block of Spinnaker Court. Following a search of the home, Buie was arrested during a traffic stop.

During the search, investigators said they found about 1.2 pounds of marijuana, 27 pieces of crack cocaine weighing about 3.5 grams, a small bag of powdered cocaine weighing about 2.5 grams and a "crack cookie" piece of cocaine weighing about 5.5 grams. In addition to the illegal drugs, numerous items of manufacturing/distributing of narcotics were also recovered, such as glass beakers with cocaine residue, cooking whisk with cocaine residue, a digital scale with cocaine residue, and razor blades and Ziplok baggies, police said.
