JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Police in Jacksonville are looking for two men who robbed a Dunkin' Donuts on the Southside early Monday morning.

Police said the restaurant at 11657 Beach Blvd. was closed and the doors were locked just before 2 a.m., but a man was able to enter through the back door while wearing a stocking over his face and armed with a firearm.

He pointed the gun at an employee and had her walk into the cooler. The employee stayed inside the cooler for about 45 minutes until she thought it was safe to exit and call police.

Video surveillance showed the man enter the restaurant and force the employee into the cooler, then he left and returned with another man wearing all dark clothing.

One of the men tried to gain access to the office safe but was unable to do so. The robbers then took the employee tip box containing cash and fled on foot toward the Beachwood area.

Anyone who has any information on the robbers' identities is asked to call the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at 904-630-0500 or Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
