FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. -

A Palm Coast woman was killed early Saturday morning after a crash on Belle Terre Parkway, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Around midnight on Saturday, a silver Chevrolet Malibu was traveling Southbound in the left turn lane of Belle Terre Parkway approaching Pine Grove Drive.

A black Nissan Sentra was traveling Northbound in the left lane of Belle Terre Parkway, also approaching Pine grove Drive.

The Chevrolet, driven by 38-year-old Richard Kelley of Grapevine, Texas, made a left turn into the direct path of the Nissan, driven by 25-year-old Christopher Goodwin of Palm Coast.

The front of the Nissan collided with the right side of the Chevrolet.

59-year-old Michelle Roberts of Palm Coast was a passenger in the Chevrolet and was taken to Flagler Hospital where she died.

Kelley was also taken to Flagler Hospital with serious injuries.

Goodwin suffered minor injuries and his passenger, 26-year-old Stephanie Daley, was taken to Halifax Hospital in serious condition.

According to the FHP release, all 4 people involved in this crash were wearing their seat belts. They are investigating to determine whether or not alcohol played a factor in this crash.
