KINGS BAY, Ga. – The executive officer of TRIDENT Refit Facility (TRF) in Kings Bay, Georgia, was removed on Aug. 24, because of an ongoing investigation into allegations of personal misconduct.
Cmdr. Vincent J. Wood was removed from his position by Capt. Gunter Braun, TRF commanding officer.

Wood has been the executive officer at TRF since April, 2015 and was administratively reassigned to Submarine Group 10, located on Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Ga.
